What this policy covers

This policy explains how Law Offices of Vanessa L. Bailey, PLLC ("the firm," "we," "us") handles information you share through this website. It applies to this site only, not to any other website we may link to.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and whatever you write in your message.

Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information automatically, such as your browser type and the pages you visit. We do not use this to identify you.

How we use your information

We use what you send for one purpose: to read your inquiry and respond to it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with the service providers that help us run this site and receive your messages: our website host (Vercel) and our contact-form delivery service (Web3Forms), which passes your message to our email inbox. These providers handle the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google's servers may receive your IP address when a page loads; Google's handling of that is governed by its own privacy policy.

A note on confidential information

Please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-sensitive information through the contact form. Submitting the form does not create an attorney-client relationship, and information you send before a relationship is formally established may not be treated as privileged.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to maintain our business records. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at vanessa@vlblawfirm.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a revised date. Please check back from time to time.
